Systems Change in Practice
Consulting from Maisie Jeffreys
My work is about supporting organisations and groups to navigate systems change – building understanding, co-creating ideas, and most importantly, translating them into effective, lasting action
How I Can Help
All my work is centred on inclusivity and decoloniality
I offer a range of tailored services, including:
Strategy Development
Helping organisations design inclusive strategies using participatory and inclusive methods, understand complex systems, scale what works, and centre locally led approaches
Design work
Designing and delivering services, products, initiatives and programmes that tackle root causes through holistic systems change. I use user-centred, participatory co-design methods
Facilitation
Skilled facilitation of partnerships, workshops, co-creation sessions, and communities of practice (online and in-person)
Capacity strengthening and training
Tailored learning journeys and training on systems thinking, innovation, scaling strategies and decolonial approaches that strengthen organisational capacity
I offer this work in two ways:
- Tailored, set-fee packages: focused pieces of work that provide clarity and direction
- Longer-term or bespoke support: including implementation, facilitation, and embedded roles
The way I work has grown out of real client needs rather than a fixed menu of services. Over time, recurring patterns in the work became clear, which I’ve described here as distinct service areas. In reality, they often overlap, and longer pieces of work usually combine several of them – I will tailor to your needs.
Who I work With
I collaborate with organisations across the globe and teams who want to work differently – to address root causes, not symptoms; navigate and transform the systems they work in. My clients include:
- Public services (health, justice, housing, social care) seeking to work more collaboratively
- Local systems and partnerships building cross-sector alignment
- Charities, networks, and humanitarian organisations navigating complex change
- Funders and intermediaries supporting locally-led work and innovation
- Private companies and business with corporate responsibility mandates
